A wee bit about me!
I have been doing belly dance for a many years, I started with Egyptian belly dance and then I was introduced to ATS. I enjoy doing belly dance and have attended many training sessions and workshops and weekends away. Through this I have met and made friends with so many beautiful Goddesses of all ages, shapes and sizes. Its such a great way to keep fit, to be creative and to dress up in some beautiful costumes.
I moved down to Devon from Scotland in July 06 and met Sharon and Kay through belly dance. We were all interested in tribal bellydance and so got together, started practicing and performing together and is how we started Kali Tribe. I started teaching ATS when I moved to Devon, I have now moved back to Scotland where I continue to dance and teach ATS and look forward to further adventures with ATS.
I have been fortunate to have been able to learn from so many wonderful teachers from Scotland, England and the US. Some of my teacher have been:- Hilary Thacker, Elaine Hughes, Siouxsie Cooper ,Wendy Marlatt, Kay Taylor, Paulette Rees Denis (Director and founder of Gypsy Caravan), Carolena Nericcio ( Director and founder of Fat Chance Belly Dance and ATS), Sam Hasthorpe to name but a few! I have just completed Carolena Nericco's General Skills Course with her in Glastonbury in 08. What a wonderful experience and I have lots more to learn. That's what I love about ATS.
